Hello! My name is Marika, and I am a concept artist based in the extremely beautiful country that is Norway.
Before moving here, I spent a majority of the first 25 years of my life in India, where I attained my bachelors degree in Game art and Design. I also lived a year in Singapore, where I attended FZD School of Design.
As an artist, I specialise in creating colourful and vivid environment concept art and illustrations for the entertainment industry. Especially within the fantasy genre.
In my free time, I enjoy painting traditionally. Recently I have found myself dabbling with acrylics and I’ve found that it’s a rather interesting medium that suits my current style very intuitively. I also enjoy spending time with my fiancé and mother exploring various game worlds and I also enjoy tasting foods from different cultures. One of my resolutions for 2024 is to try to cook a dish that I’ve never tried before at least once a month.
Another resolution I have is to keep a consistent exercise schedule.
